Re\u015fide adl\u0131 k\u0131z karde\u015fi \u00e7ok gen\u00e7 ya\u015fta \u00f6len G\u00fcntekin, tek \u00e7ocuk olarak b\u00fcy\u00fcd\u00fc.<\/p>\n<p>\u00dcsk\u00fcdar Selimiye\u2019de ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ilk \u00f6\u011frenimini \u00c7anakkale mahalle mektebinde tamamlayan yazar, bir bu\u00e7uk y\u0131l kadar \u00c7anakkale \u0130dadisi\u2019ne devam etti.<\/p>\n<p>Usta edebiyat\u00e7\u0131 daha sonra \u0130zmir Frerler Mektebi\u2019ne kay\u0131t oldu ancak bitirmeden tasdikname alarak, \u0130stanbul Dar\u00fclf\u00fcnunu Edebiyat \u015eubesi\u2019nin s\u0131nav\u0131na girdi. S\u0131navda ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 olan yazar, edebiyat b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnden 1912\u2019de mezun oldu.<\/p>\n<p>Re\u015fat Nuri G\u00fcntekin, 1927\u2019ye kadar Bursa ve \u0130stanbul\u2019da \u00e7e\u015fitli okullarda Frans\u0131zca ve T\u00fcrk\u00e7e \u00f6\u011fretmeni ve m\u00fcd\u00fcr olarak g\u00f6rev yapt\u0131. Ayn\u0131 y\u0131l Erenk\u00f6y K\u0131z Lisesi\u2019nden mezun olan \u00f6\u011frencisi Hadiye Han\u0131m ile evlendi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cBABAM HALK ADAMI AMA KEND\u0130S\u0130N\u0130 YET\u0130\u015eT\u0130RM\u0130\u015eT\u0130\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>G\u00fcntekin \u00e7iftinin k\u0131z\u0131 Ela G\u00fcntekin, yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir a\u00e7\u0131klamada anne ve babas\u0131n\u0131n evlilikleriyle \u015fu bilgiyi vermi\u015fti:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnnemin sesi \u00e7ok g\u00fczelmi\u015f. Okul idaresi e\u011fitim i\u00e7in yurt d\u0131\u015f\u0131na g\u00f6ndermeyi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015f ama annemin babas\u0131 izin vermemi\u015f. Annem par\u0131lt\u0131lar\u0131 olan bir kad\u0131n. Okusayd\u0131 iyi bir yere gelebilir ya da iyi bir opera sanat\u00e7\u0131s\u0131 olabilirdi. Hi\u00e7 birikimi olmayan bir adam\u0131n gidip burjuva ailesinin k\u0131z\u0131yla evlenmesi s\u0131radan bir \u015fey de\u011fil. Babam halk adam\u0131 ama kendisini yeti\u015ftirmi\u015fti.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daha sonra Milli E\u011fitim Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 m\u00fcfetti\u015fli\u011fine tayin edilen yazar, \u00c7anakkale\u2019den milletvekili se\u00e7iline kadar bu g\u00f6revine devam etti. G\u00fcntekin, 1939-1946\u2019da iki d\u00f6nem s\u00fcren milletvekilli\u011finden sonra tekrar m\u00fcfetti\u015fli\u011fe d\u00f6nd\u00fc ve 1947\u2019de ba\u015fm\u00fcfetti\u015f oldu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1950\u2019DE UNESCO\u2019NUN T\u00dcRK\u0130YE TEMS\u0130LC\u0130S\u0130 OLDU<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Re\u015fat Nuri G\u00fcntekin, 1950\u2019de UNESCO\u2019nun T\u00fcrkiye temsilcisi ve talebe m\u00fcfetti\u015fi olarak Paris\u2019e gitti. Emekliye ayr\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 1954\u2019ten sonra ise \u0130stanbul \u015eehir Tiyatrolar\u0131 Edebi Heyet \u00fcyeli\u011fine se\u00e7ildi.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00fcseyin \u00c7elik, \u0130slam Ansiklopedisindeki Re\u015fat Nuri G\u00fcntekin maddesinde, yazar\u0131n edebiyatla ili\u015fkisini \u015f\u00f6yle ifade ediyor:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRe\u015fat Nuri, edebiyatla ilgisinin, \u00e7ocuk ya\u015flarda teyzesinin o\u011flu Ru\u015fen E\u015fref \u00dcnayd\u0131n\u2019la beraber dinledikleri lalas\u0131 \u015eakir A\u011fa\u2019n\u0131n masallar\u0131yla ba\u015flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131, daha sonra \u00c7anakkale\u2019de otururlarken ev han\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131n kendi aralar\u0131nda okuduklar\u0131 hissi romanlara kulak misafiri oldu\u011funu, bunlar aras\u0131nda \u00f6zellikle Fatma Aliye Han\u0131m\u2019\u0131n Udi adl\u0131 roman\u0131n\u0131 unutamad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yler. Fakat as\u0131l bir s\u00fcre sonra Halit Ziya U\u015fakl\u0131gil\u2019den okuduklar\u0131yla hevesinin artt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade eder. Ayr\u0131ca evde babas\u0131n\u0131n T\u00fcrk\u00e7e ve Frans\u0131zca edebiyat ve felsefe kitaplar\u0131n\u0131 ihtiva eden olduk\u00e7a zengin bir kitapl\u0131\u011f\u0131 vard\u0131r.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u0130zmir\u2019de Frans\u0131z misyonerlerinin \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 Frerler Mektebi\u2019ne devam ederken \u00f6\u011frendi\u011fi Frans\u0131zcas\u0131 ile Bat\u0131 klasiklerini tan\u0131d\u0131. Babas\u0131n\u0131n memuriyeti dolay\u0131s\u0131yla \u00e7ocukken, daha sonra \u00f6\u011fretmenlik ve m\u00fcfetti\u015flik y\u0131llar\u0131nda yak\u0131ndan tan\u0131d\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve m\u00fc\u015fahede etti\u011fi Anadolu \u015fehir ve kasabalar\u0131, insanlar, kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 olaylar, roman ve hikayelerinin zengin malzemesini olu\u015fturmu\u015ftur. Yine \u00e7ocuklu\u011funda \u00e7ad\u0131r tiyatrolar\u0131na d\u00fc\u015fk\u00fcnl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, ilk \u00f6\u011fretmenlik y\u0131llar\u0131nda Bursa\u2019da Ahmed Vefik Pa\u015fa\u2019n\u0131n yapt\u0131rm\u0131\u015f oldu\u011fu tiyatroda seyretti\u011fi oyunlar da bu edebi t\u00fcrle ciddi olarak ilgilenmesine yol a\u00e7m\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0130LK YAZILARI \u0130MZASIZ YAYINLANDI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u0130lk gen\u00e7lik y\u0131llar\u0131nda yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve imzas\u0131z yay\u0131mlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 birka\u00e7 \u015fiir denemesinden sonra Gen\u00e7 Kalemler\u2019deki ilk makalesiyle edebiyat d\u00fcnyas\u0131na giren G\u00fcntekin, La Pensee Turque dergisiyle Zaman gazetesine edebiyata, \u00f6zellikle tiyatroya dair makaleler yazd\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Re\u015fat Nuri\u2019nin ilk hikayesi \u201cEski Ahbap\u201d, Diken mecmuas\u0131nda yay\u0131nland\u0131ktan sonra ilk roman\u0131 \u201cHarabelerin \u00c7i\u00e7e\u011fi\u201d 1919\u2019da Zaman gazetesinde okuyucuyla bulu\u015ftu. Ayn\u0131 y\u0131llarda Tristane Bernard\u2019dan \u201cHakiki Kahramanl\u0131k\u201d ad\u0131yla adapte etti\u011fi ilk piyesi Hayreddin R\u00fc\u015fd\u00fc takma ad\u0131yla yay\u0131mland\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Yazara \u015f\u00f6hret kazand\u0131ran \u00c7al\u0131ku\u015fu eseri, 1922\u2019de Vakit gazetesinde yay\u0131nland\u0131ktan sonra ayn\u0131 y\u0131l kitap halinde yay\u0131mland\u0131. \u00c7al\u0131ku\u015fu, o g\u00fcnden bug\u00fcne s\u00fcrekli olarak okuyucular\u0131n ilgisini \u00e7eken ve en \u00e7ok bas\u0131lan romanlar aras\u0131na girdi.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00fcntekin, 1923 -1924\u2019te Mahmud Yesari, M\u00fcnif Fehim ve \u0130bn\u00fcrrefik Ahmed Nuri ile Kelebek adl\u0131 haftal\u0131k mizah dergisini \u00e7\u0131kartt\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>Tiyatro, hikaye, roman, mizah, tenkit, terc\u00fcme, uyarlama, antoloji, s\u00f6zl\u00fck alanlar\u0131nda pek \u00e7ok esere imza atan G\u00fcntekin, 1947\u2019de Cumhuriyet Halk Partisinin \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131\u011f\u0131 Memleket gazetesini y\u00f6netti.<\/p>\n<p>Baz\u0131 yay\u0131nlar\u0131nda Hayreddin R\u00fc\u015fd\u00fc, Cemil Nimet, Sermed Ferid adlar\u0131n\u0131 tercih eden usta yazar, \u00f6zellikle mizahi yaz\u0131lar\u0131nda Y\u0131ld\u0131z B\u00f6ce\u011fi, A\u011fustos B\u00f6ce\u011fi, Ate\u015f B\u00f6ce\u011fi takma adlar\u0131n\u0131 kulland\u0131.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OTURDU\u011eU SOKA\u011eA ADI VER\u0130LD\u0130<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrk edebiyat\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nemli isimlerinden G\u00fcntekin\u2019in yaz\u0131lar\u0131, Zaman, Vakit, Kelebek, Diken, \u015eair, \u015eair Ned\u00eem, Tema\u015fa, B\u00fcy\u00fck Mecmua, Edebi Mecmua, \u0130nci, Dersaadet, Terc\u00fcman-\u0131 Hakikat, Fikirler, Hayat, Yeni T\u00fcrk, Varl\u0131k, Aydabir, \u00c7\u0131naralt\u0131, Cumhuriyet, Milliyet, Resimli \u015eark, Ulus, Tan, Memleket, T\u00fcrk Yurdu, Yeni Mecmua, G\u00fcne\u015f, Muhit, Ana Yurt, Akbaba, Yedi G\u00fcn gazetelerinde okuyucuyla bulu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n<p>Re\u015fat Nuri G\u00fcntekin, akci\u011fer kanseri tedavisi i\u00e7in gitti\u011fi Londra\u2019da 7 Aral\u0131k 1956\u2019da hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131na yenik d\u00fc\u015ferek \u00f6ld\u00fc.
