Son 40 bin y\u0131lda insanlar\u0131n genetik yap\u0131s\u0131 hi\u00e7 de\u011fi\u015fmemi\u015ftir. Diyabet say\u0131s\u0131 ise 1983&#8217;den 2008&#8217;e kadar 7 kat artm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Depresyon ve duygu durum bozuklu\u011fu s\u0131kt\u0131r (y\u00fczde 50). Diyabet kronik b\u00f6brek yetersizli\u011finin en s\u0131k nedenidir. Kanser ve enfeksiyon riskini art\u0131r\u0131r.
